Everyone knows the story of us Baby Beamers, right!
The 60's came and so did the Beatles, Karma and the Viet Nam War. Flower Power took hold in the late 60's and truly became powerful in the 70's. After all sex, drugs and rock and roll put a stop to "that ol silly asian war", didn't it?
The democrats have tried to label the war in Iraq as Bush's Viet Nam. Is it really? Dennis Hopper (remember
Born to be Wild) has a new commercial out regarding retirement among us aging baby boomers where he says it best, "Flower Power was then, this is now".
Color me goofy but I am seeing a lot of people, especially innocent young people, falling for the same garbage that we all fell for back during the Viet Nam war. You know, when the media finally decided to be opinionated instead of reporting. When our young brave were being spit on as they returned home after putting their lives on the line for us.
Have the liberals gone mad? Do they really think us aging baby boomers have forgotten? Well one could easily make the argument that, yes, of course that is what they think. After all if they can so easily forget 911 which was just five years ago certainly they have forgotten the lessons of Viet Nam. Then again I truly believe the likes of Michael Moore and Barbara Striesand would have no problem spitting on our troops today.
So maybe Iraq is becoming like Viet Nam! The liberals are literally "killing" our sons and daughters with their willingness to leak information, make outrageous statements and embolden the enemy.
I say never again! America has to stop acting as if there is no line between right and wrong. "Don't judge", are we crazy? Yes its time to judge between right and wrong. The kids on the front lines are our kids! And every time a liberal loose cannon opens his or her mouth against our president, republican or democrat, we are at war. Do these idiots not understand that by embolding the enemy with their conquest to destroy our president that they are putting our kids in harms way?
Yeah, I grew up in the 60's. I tasted of all the sex, drugs and rock and roll. I am not perfect. And I am not stupid! I honestly believe that this time around the media and the over-the-edge liberals have outdone themselves. This time around us baby boomers aren't going to be so easily duped. I personally will do whatever it takes to make sure not one single soldier comes home dishonored as they did when the media finally lost the war in Viet Nam for us. Its already happening as we have all seen the protest at our soldiers grave sites.
For the sake of our kids stand up to what is right instead of wrong. For our grandchildren's safety honor our soldiers and never again let anyone spit on one! Are you with me on this?
